The National Civil Rights Museum and its community partners are planning two free, nonpartisan events aimed at helping Memphis-area residents prepare for Election Day.

The first, Trick or Vote, is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Families can enjoy Halloween activities while adults receive information about polling places, registration and voting procedures.

The gathering is expected to include candy, children’s activities, music and voter resources.

A second program, the Election Day Hub, is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Volunteers will help answer questions, direct voters to appropriate election information and assist people encountering problems with voting access.

The events are being organized with Democracy in Action partners and are intended to serve people across political affiliations.

Early voting in Shelby County is scheduled to continue through October 29.

For those waiting until Election Day, the museum program offers another place to ask practical questions.

The gatherings provide information rather than endorsements of candidates.

Attendees should confirm event details and polling procedures through official organizers and election authorities.

The Halloween event also offers a family-friendly way to connect civic participation with community history.
